Oxymetholone or what’s commonly referred to under the Trade Name Anadroxyl is the king of all oral anabolic steroids. Anadroxyl has long been used as the base of a strong steroid cycle. It’s effects can include rapid gains in mass, size and strength.
Easily accepted as the strongest oral steroid available, Anadroxyl has an extremely high androgenic effect which goes hand in hand with a strong anabolic component. Dramatic gains in size and strength can be achieved in a very short time. An increase in bodyweight of 14-18 lbs in only 14 days is not uncommon.
Water retention is considerable, so much so that the muscle diameter increases quickly and the user gets a massive appearance within record time. Since this particular anabolic draws a lot of water the body will appear full yet smooth, in part even puffy. Anadroxyl causes quantitative muscle gains rather than quality which is often welcomed by off-season bodybuilders or powerlifters.

Anadroxyl also imparts a nice joint lubricating effect because of the increased water retention. This allows lifters to lift through joint pain. Although water retention is high, it can be controlled by a clean diet and simultaneous use of an anti estrogen such as Nolvaxyl and or Arimixyl and Proviroxyl.
The “Pump” when taking Anadroxyl is quite strikingly crazy and since overall blood volume is increased with Anadroxyl their is more blood to be supplied to the trained muscles. Although many have always thought of Anadroxyl as an “off season” drug, many competitors are using it up until 2/3 weeks before a show to help the body hold on to muscle while dieting strictly.
A good dose is somewhere in the range of 50-100 mg per day and under no circumstances would one take more than 200 mg per day. Always start with only one 50 mg tablet to see how your body responds to Anadroxyl and slowly increase your dose. Anadroxyl can be stacked with other products including: Nandrolone, Testosterone (any esters), Equipoise and or Trenbolone. Anadroxyl is not for novices and should only be used after a user has gained a significant amount of muscle from taking other “weaker” steroids.
Side Effects
Anadroxyl is unfortunately the most toxic oral steroid. Since it’s 17-alpha-alkylated it is liver toxic in high doses taken for long periods of time. Liver values usually change within one week. Once Anadroxyl has been discontinued the liver values will normalize within 4-5 weeks. If used for over 10 weeks Anadroxyl can produce yellow discoloration of fingernails, eyes and or skin (jaundice).
Anadroxyl does convert to estrogen hence it will deliver some water retention and may cause other estrogen related sides. It is recommended to use Arimidex or another anti-estrogen when using it. Because much of Anadroxyl converts to DHT, hair loss and acne may present themselves during its use. It is recommended that a strong PCT with HCG, CLOMIXYL and NOLVADEX be used for at least 4 weeks post cycle.
